“Who Are All These People?”

It’s been another long wait, but we finally received the MRI results. It’s not the miracle we were hoping and praying for, but I’m still not giving up on it either. Monday night following the MRI something amazing happened that I’ve only heard or read about but never experienced myself.

For sometime now, Steph has had difficulty falling and staying asleep. Her doctor prescribed her a sleep aid to help her get a good night’s rest. She normally takes it about an hour before bed and it’s very apparent when it kicks in. Monday night wasn’t unlike any other night. She took her medicine, got in the bed and we talked and prayed. After our prayer, she said she felt cold and wanted an extra blanket. When she sat up to grab the blanket at the foot of the bed I heard her ask, “Who are all these people?”

Staring into our dark bedroom she began to describe beautiful lights and angelic beings surrounding our bed. “Don’t you see them? That one is really big.” She began to describe an angel that stood as tall as our 10 foot ceiling. “That one over there is praying. Why are they here?” “Because God sent them to watch over you”, I said. She laid back down and softly fell asleep.

Last night we were eating dinner and I told the kids what had happened the night before. Steph had full remembrance of everything. After dinner I went outside to check the mail. In the midst of a bunch of junk mail was a card from a member of our church addressed to Steph. When she opened it, this is what was inside:

Some will debate it was a merely a dream induced by her sleep medication. But she has never had a hallucination before, and I don’t believe she had one that night. I believe that God allowed my wife to see what very few eyes have seen and used a member of our church to bring confirmation that it was real.

There’s much more to Steph’s angelic encounter that I didn’t post here. Perhaps she will share it with you sometime, but I will say, it’s truly amazing.

God sent angels to minister to Elijah under the juniper tree when he was discouraged (1 Kings 19:1-7). He also sent angels to comfort Jesus when He as tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:11) and strengthen Him in the Garden of Gethsemane hours before His crucifixion (Luke 22:43). Personally, I believe God loves Steph has His own daughter, and sent His angels to minister to her in her time of need.

“For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” – Psalm 91:11 NKJV

I believe this is the first of many amazing things God will send to comfort Stephanie. Someday she will have a testimony like no other.
    BELIEVE.

    Stephanie,
There is no doubt in my mind that God sent His angels to watch over you! You have so many people praying for your entire family! I went to high school with your Mom and Dad, and I feel as if I know you through your Mom on FB. God will see you through the darkest hours…I know this, because he has done this for me. Remember, this is a diagnosis, not a death sentence, and medical breakthroughs have come a long way. I know several people that are survivors of that horrible diagnosis with similar situations as yours. Fall apart when you need to, then get back up and fight too!! Heaven is being bombarded with prayers for you! God bless you all!

WOW!!!! You have had an experience that only lots of us wish to have, I know God comes to us in our time of need and he knew you needed to see those things and people holding you in prayer and we all have our arms wrapped around you through this journey. He wants you to know stay strong he will handle the rest, it will be tough but through any trial if you have faith he will be there every step of the way. It is easy to think “it’s the med’s talking” but the next morning he wanted you to be able to confirm what you may have doubt the night before with another message from the church member. How fitting…feathers from the “Angels”. Confirmed!!!!!!

Yes, I know in my heart that you seen Angels sent from God to protect and pray for you. I experienced the same thing with Cindy’s mother who is Heaven now. One morning I was going to work early about 0530 am. When I came home around 800 pm she asked me who was that with you when you left out this morning.I replied I was alone and she said no you were not. So I came to the conclusion that she seen my Guardian Angel sent by God to protect me from any harm or danger. So I can say that yes what you saw was very real and from God.
